The raw materil thickness, which need to take into consideration to design the tube mill roll/tooling
Date:2019-12-25 10:32:20

Wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !

(If you are the experts in the tube mill running field, please ignore this artical. Because, it is the basic, that you shall and must know it)

Well, when you need to buy a new set of tube mill roll

Your professional tube mill roll/tooling/mold maker shall ask you many technical quesitions, if your supplier is professional enough.

Such as: What is your root diameter of your mill? What is the width of your strip? What is the thickness of your raw material/pipe thickness range?  etc...

I think it is very important to take the thickness into consideration.

But, you may say, why?

Your mill orginal specifications show the production range: 0.5-2.5mm (For example)  ~~~ And, you already have the tube mill roll/ mould size. ~~~ And, you have the good dubugging engineer.~~~ If small thickness, just put the Top roller down a little, it will produce the small thickness pipe... If big thickness, just pull the Top roller a little up, it will produce the big thickness pipe...

Is that the truth?

When we met those customers, we shall explain to them patiently. If the contact is an engineer, he will understand us a lot. If just a buyer without any engineer background, we will have much problem to continue this business.

Today, we publish the below talking record for your better understanding.

1, If we designed the roller for 0.9mm, but you need it to do the small thickness 0.5mm raw material, please see below image, what will happen.

2, If we designed the roller for 0.9mm, but you need it to do the big thickness 2.0mm raw material, please see below image, what will happen.
